Adrian Wood

(Close)

I am a sound artist working across media including video, printmaking and social practice. My works use sound, image and participation to open up cracks in the realities of capitalist extraction and techno-dissociation, creating space for the development of agency through imagination. I aim to reconnect audiences to themselves, their environments and each other through listening. To listen is to risk being transformed. I aim to create conditions where listening can disrupt and inform, making space for personal transformation that can break harmful patterns and spark collective joy. To me, this kind of transformation is the basis of positive social change and revolution.
